About.
The CIE/888 is a hand-driven (generator type) insulation tester housed in a metal body. It needs no batteries: turning the handle drives the internal generator that supplies the test voltage. Available as a 500 V, 0–100 MΩ instrument or a 1000 V, 0–200 MΩ instrument. Other ranges are available on request.
