Micro-Ohm Meters
A micro-ohm meter measures very low resistances, such as breaker contacts, busbar joints and bonding, using a four-terminal Kelvin connection that cancels out the resistance of the test leads.
- Circuit breaker contacts
- Busbar joints

Four-terminal Kelvin
Always use a four-terminal measurement for milli-ohm and micro-ohm values. Two-wire meters cannot resolve them.

Test current
A higher test current gives a more stable reading on large contacts. Check the current the instrument supplies.
