Clamp Meters
A clamp meter measures current without breaking the circuit. You open the jaws, clamp around a single conductor and read the current, which makes it the safest way to check a live load.
- Motor load checks
- Panel and feeder current

- 1
AC only or AC/DC
AC-only clamp meters cover most building and motor work. Choose AC/DC if you work on solar, batteries or drives.
- 2
True RMS again
Motors on drives and other non-linear loads need True RMS to read correctly.
- 3
Jaw size and range
Check that the jaws fit around your cable and that the maximum current covers your biggest load.
