The Systems Tech HTM 560 is a handheld non-contact digital tachometer that reads speed with a light beam, so there is nothing to touch on the rotating part. A strip of reflective tape is fixed on the shaft, the unit is held 75 mm to 300 mm away, and it reads from 60 up to 1,00,000 RPM with 0.1 RPM resolution up to 1000 RPM. It has a 5-digit red LED display, quartz crystal time base, automatic last, maximum and minimum memory, and comes with reflective tape and a padded carrying case.
