The Systems Tech HTM 890 combines a contact tachometer and a photo (non-contact) tachometer in one handheld body. The contact side reads 60 to 50,000 RPM and surface speed from 6 to 5000 m/min using rubber contact tips; the photo side reads 60 to 1,00,000 RPM from 75 mm to 300 mm using reflective tape. It has a 5-digit red LED display, quartz crystal time base, automatic last, maximum and minimum memory, and is supplied with contact tips, reflective tape, a padded carrying case and a user manual - a single tool for motor and machine performance checks.
