Electrical Measurement.
Multimeters and clamp meters are the everyday tools for measuring voltage, current, resistance and continuity. Choose a multimeter for bench and panel work, and a clamp meter when you need to read current without breaking the circuit.

Questions buyers ask.
What is the difference between a multimeter and a clamp meter?+
A multimeter measures through its probes and suits low current and bench work. A clamp meter reads current by clamping around a conductor, so the circuit stays live and intact.
Do I need True-RMS?+
Yes, if you measure drives, UPS, LED lighting or other non-sinusoidal loads. An average-responding meter reads these wrongly.
What does the CAT rating mean?+
It states the transient overvoltage the meter is built to withstand on a given part of the installation. Use a rating that matches where you measure.
